A few tipsReview by RogerB

A. Being an f4 board, it is best to soft mount it using the rubber standoffs which are also available at 2dogrc

B. It is pretty much mandatory that you use dshot600 as the ESC protocol. The ESCs get power when the USB is plugged in. This means you can not calibrate the ESCs using the motor tabs in betaflight. DSHOT protocol does not require calibration as it is a digital protocol.

C. If using Spektrum sat receiver, you will need to scratch/cut the trace in the board between the J19 center pad and the 5v pad. Then solder bridge from the center pad to the 3v pad.

The YouTube channel RogerB FPV has a video of these tips. (Posted on 7/3/2017)
Great for any buildReview by RogerB

This makes for a really clean build, eliminating several solder connections and high component stacks.

Using betaflight 3.1.7 and blheli 16.65 with dshot600 with the gemfan 2306 2300kv motors and it flies smooth and doesn't heat up. This is the V2 board that has solderpads so you don't have to use the pigtails if you don't want them which is a nice touch.

One of the best features are the holes to fit the motor wires. Just tin the motor wire, place it in the hole for the ESC, and another dab of solder makes this the easiest ESCs I've soldered up. (Posted on 6/12/2017)
